Introduction.
Learning foreign language has always been a source of interest for translators.
As the student of the faculty of translation, I prefer learning and working on foreign languages. Analyzing and translating is the long, but amusing journey. Translating amateur works, learning the teamwork, learning how to speed up help us with honing our skills. While reading the translations of major works in literature, I noticed that sometimes the whole vibe with the context aren’t represented properly to the reader. You can even see that some vital moments and crucial messages of author are lacking in the translated version of the work. Therefore, I wanted to open the eyes of my surrounding.
Research subject – analysis of different works written by British female authors using various sources.
Object of research: proper translations.
Hypothesis: Translators should have their distinctions, but an original text must be kept in its root form.
Work purpose: to acquaint the reader with works of British female authors and to analyze the existing translations of them.
Tasks
1) to study the concept the British female authors had in their works
2) to understand the methods of translating
Research methods: analysis, comparison, generalization, classification.
