IN ALMATY
Annotation The article discusses the improvement of the ecological situation in Almaty with the help of
plant species with powerful activity that suppresses the growth and development of bacteria. The
main research methods: experimental work and the method of phenological observations, in
combination with the methods of mathematical processing of the statistical data obtained, the
method of comparisons.
Our main task was to identify among the trees and shrubs used in the landscaping of the city
of Almaty, the species with the most phytoncidal properties and assess the possibilities of their use
to improve the ecological situation.
